Suzuki Graduation

All students are invited to perform in Lincoln Suzuki Talent Education’s Graduation Celebration on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at O’Donnell Auditorium on the campus of Nebraska Wesleyan University, 50th & Huntington Street. Rehearsal for graduation will be Friday, May 16th at Berean Church, 70th & Highway 2. The rehearsal schedule is as follows:

4:00 p.m.: Bach A Minor Concerto, 1st Mvt., La Folia, Bach Double, Vivaldi Concerto in G Minor: 1st Mvt., Vivaldi Concerto in A Minor: 1st Mvt.

4:30 p.m.: Bach Bourree, Martini Gavotte, Handel Bourree

4:45 p.m. Gossec Gavotte, Andantino, Go Tell Aunt Rhody, Twinkles, Monkey & Flower Song

Recitals

Students are invited to perform in recitals which are held each semester. Recitals are held at Union College in Engel Recital Hall at 48th & Bancroft on the 2nd floor. Upcoming recitals are scheduled for Sunday, April 6th and Sunday, April 13th both at 7:00 p.m. at Union College. Sign up at your lesson.

Other recitals that students may perform in are hosted by Lincoln Music Teacher’s Association. A spring recital will be held on Sunday, May 4th at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Community Evangelical Church, 6843 South Street. There is a small fee of $2.50 per student. There is also an Honor Recital after Festival on Saturday, May 17th for any student who earns a “1″ rating at the Festival. No charge for the Honor Recital.

Registration

Students who wish to secure a spot for lessons in the fall will be required to pay a $40 registration fee ($60 for families where there is more than one student). Registration is pro-rated for students who begin in the middle of the year. The registration fee is waived for students who pay for the entire year (through May). Tuition is non refundable. Summer Violin & Viola Enrichment

A two week six session class for beginning and experienced violin and viola students. Open to students who are not currently enrolled in private lessons. Classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 16th-27th in the morning.
